Happy New Years Eve!!

This morning, we looked at a house!! I think that it is the one!!! It's about three miles away from where we live now, in an excellent school district, and close to everything I know. It's within walking distance of the elementary and high schools, so it would be nice. This is the picture of it, right on the left hand side. I love it, and we are going to put an offer in within the next week.

Lindsey stayed at her grandparents last night while Dan and I had some much needed quiet time. It was fantastic, and she had a lot of fun too. Dan played some new video games, while I read a non-school-related book, and I also made Philly Cheesesteaks...mmm.

Tonight we are going out to Janna and John's for a New Year's Eve party. I am very much looking forward to it! I love going out for New Years, and it's even better because I get to bring Linds so she can have a good time with her friends too.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!

We had a very early morning Christmas. Lindsey was so excited that she did not go to sleep until after 10 pm, and then she was up and ready at 4:45!! OMG, I could not believe it. We tried to get her to go back to sleep in our bed, but she wasn't having any of that so we were up at 5:15 opening presents. It took us nearly two hours to open all the presents!! I could not believe it. Lindsey was definitely spoiled this year.

I made belgian waffles and bacon for breakfast, and toasted the holiday with mimosas. After playing with our toys for awhile, we went over to Dan's parents house and celebrated with them too. Then in the evening, we went out bowling, as is our tradition. It's weird, I know, but it is a lot of fun to go and get out of the house that has been trashed!!

I hope that everyone else has enjoyed their Christmas as much as we did! I'm glas it's over, but I still can't wait until next year, when we have a five year old!!
