Surgery tomorrow...

Tomorrow at 7:30 am I am having the cerclage surgery. Basically, it is a surgery that will put a stitch in my cervix (kind of close it up like a purse-string and clinch it) because my cervix has shortened so much. It's less than half of what it should be, only 1.3 cm when it should be 3 cm and I am already dilated to 2 cm on the internal os.

It's a quick surgery, takes all of 10 minutes but I have to stay in the hospital overnight because I will be having contractions and I have to take meds to stop it.

I am in very able hands (my maternal-fetal specialist Dr. Greig) and I trust him immensely. Please keep Jake and I in your prayers, as well as Dan and Lindsey too. We're all pretty worried, but the good enws is that after the surgery, I can begin to get off bedrest!! YAY!
